The WPC Museum & Archive says no such index exists. But I have to wonder? The original serial number plate on my 36 Dodge D2 two door Touring sedan was lost many years ago. What ID number is used on your title? Guest Rob1960 Posted July 19, 2006 Share Posted July 19, 2006 The Vin number on my title, and that of the previous owner, is the same number as the motor number. The previous owner believes the engine is the original in that car. How were you able trace back to previous owners?
