Guest Rob1960 Posted June 7, 2006 Share Posted June 7, 2006 Can someone offer any suggestions about how to attach the side mirror, shown in attached photo? My car is a 1936 Dodge. I intended to cup the ' U ' shaped clip over the edge of the door, and then tighten the screws with an allen wrench. I wanted the mirrors located just outside the front bottom portion of the front windows.... similar to where they're usually mounted on a modern car. But when I got the first one on, it wouldn't allow the door to close. There is almost zero clearance between the door edge and the car's frame, when the door is closed.
