rockyc
Hello,I'm looking for any of the door/window hardware used on '38 Zephyr sedan convertibles. Being so few produced, does anyone know where I might find a parts source, or even patterns? I'm interested in the chrome metal around the windows and the top attachment points across the top of the windshield. Are there interchangable Ford parts suitable as a sub?Thanks!Tomairflowzephyr@yahoo.com
West Peterson
A few (perhaps 3) years ago, Cars & Parts ran a "Salvage Yard" story on a yard that had a 1938 convertible sedan (I swear to God). The car, as you can imagine, was not in very good condition, as it was outside with trees and bushes in and around it. Please send me a PM if you want me to look, as I do not want to go through three or four years worth of magazines for nothing.Thanks.
DizzyDale
Dear RockyC,I believe those window frames are stainless. If West can come up with a source they should be in great shape in spite of the weather.diz
