kuhner
Working on a carburetor and it appears the linkages and some of the screws are clear zinc coated. Can anyone recommend anyone who does this, and could be trusted with tiny parts?greg
Guest Albert
For small parts like that i would be tempted to get one of those home plating kits and do it yourself.
kuhner
I havent seen one for clear zinc. Looked last night in my Eastwood catalog. Do you know of one?greg
Guest De Soto Frank
Kuhner,Don't know about "clear zinc", but I've seen a lot of older terminal screws and such that were originally tin-plated...comes out dull silver-gray, and can be polished to a soft shine, if desired...I would suggest Caswell Plating for more info...they have a website and a great print catalog of every kind of plating kit imaginable, much of it geared towards the hobbyist.
