CBoz
For you folks that follow such things, Mike Lewis of North Pole, Alaska (yes, that's right) sent me a picture of his NOS '36 / early '37 heat exchange unit. What a rare and interesting piece. I've updated my website to include his pics and show the differences from later systems:http://www.mindspring.com/~bozarth/id6.htmlI'm going to try to be better about updating info as I get it, but thanks Mike for the pics! imported_Phil Knapp
This is good information, Cecil. Although not applicable to my '39 Zephyr, '36 & '37 owners should find it very valuable. Our '39 came with an intact heat exchanger but didn't have anything else. I got the rest of the stuff from Sheldon Gomberg about a year ago but have been remiss in restoring and installing the parts. We don't REALLY need heaters very often here in Texas and when it's cold enough to need heat, we use the Town Car. (Spoiled!) Our '39 only leaves the barn in VERY NICE weather!
