tbirdman
In the recent PI magazine, a letter to the editor mentioned that in the late 80s a company, Packard-Re-In-Car-Nation, started by Vernon Peroit, made replica 40s Darrins. The letter indicated there were some visual differences between the real and replicas. Does any one know what those differences are?The letter was sent because the previous issue had shown a picture of a 40 Darrin that was resto-rodded, and the letter indicated this was actually a replica that had been modified and not a real 40s Darrin. Guest imported_Speedster
I saw a '40 180 listed on Barrett-Jackson auction site that was done by that company in '85. No pictures or Info tho, and nothing about it being a replica.
