Guest imported_V12Bill Posted December 29, 2005 Share Posted December 29, 2005 The 49 to 53 Ford valves and solid guides fit the Lincoln block with no modification needed to either. The solid guides elininate one oil burning source and the intake guides have seals to prevent oil from being sucked up into the combustion chamber. I have one engine with about 20,000 miles and no problems. The V12 puts out blue smoke most of the time regardless of what you do. Any thing that helps curb burning or leaking of oil is a help.
