fisherhifi
The pictures are of a car in a Las Vegas storage bay. The owner lives in New York and says it's a 1936 Nash. I've looked at all the pictures I can find of Nash and I don't think it is a Nash. In fact I think it's a plymouth. Note some of the details: The window posts are vertical. On all Nashes I've seen they are at an angle. Note the odd trunk and spare tire arrangement on the rear. Doesn't look Nash. The shot inside the car is of the side of the hood. Could be Nash but also could be a lot of others too. The body style is roughly 1936. I would say no earlier than 1934 and no later than 1937. There is one tag on the car that says the body was made by Budd in Philadelphia. I've been unable to locate a list of the cars they did in the 30's.Please help.http://members.cox.net/fisherhifi/maybenash2.jpghttp://members.cox.net/fisherhifi/maybenash4.jpgSend me email for more pictures.Mike Downing850 S. nearchoclatetown
Budd body might indicate Dodge Brothers. But forget that, what about the split window VW? Give me a better pic of that, does it have crotch coolers, sunroof, chrome on the sides, engine etc. You've got my interest there!! Is IT for sale? nearchoclatetown
It's a '35 Dodge Brothers. Now about that VW, on second look I see it has chrome around the rear windows, so it WILL have chrome on the sides. Did I ask if IT is for sale? stock_steve
Take a chill pill Doug--it's just a VW!
nearchoclatetown
Hello there Steve,I wondered how long it would be before you sniffed this one. There's no such thing as JUST a VW, not when they have a goofy back window.

kuhner
Man you take a couple days off, and somebody post a photo of a split window VW. Doug probably has it in his garage by now. You snooze you loose...greg
fisherhifi
can't find a trunk like that anywhere. Graham Paige is another good guess. Still no smoking gun though. Does anybody have a list of the car bodies produced at Budd in Philadephia from '34 - '37?
Bob Kinker
Packards had trunks like that. maybe a 36 or so?
