FOR SALE; Gasoline Heater for US Army Heavy Truck Vehicles

Brand new in the box. Made in 1953 for keeping the engine warm during Artic conditions. These were made for the Army's 2 1/2 ton 6x6 trucks. This is Brand New Never Opened until last week. Could be used for emergency Diesel generator, Cat, earthmoving equip. etc. The heater runs on gasoline. Included is one oil pan heater, two battery box heates, thermal blanket for vehicle hood, the gas heater itself, and all dashboard controls and all necessary flex hoses and complete book on instalation and parts manual. Every thing was packed in dessicant and looks like it was built yesterday instead of 50 years ago! This unit was custom made for the army at a cost of $1800, in 1953. I can send pics. Price is $400.
