Guest my3buicks
I need to identify this Olds part - what years they used it, etc. It appears to be some kind of personalization piece.
rocketraider
It's a "Rocket Circle"- a program introduced in 1956 to recognise long-term Olds owners. It mounted on the dash, on the windshield lower reveal moulding center screw. The car owner's initials would have been placed on the oval area inside the Rocket's vapor trail. Think there's a place for a years of membership stamp too.I think this program lasted into the early 60s, at which time it was replaced with the "Rocket Circle" magazine subscription. Some dealers participated, many did not. These are fairly common even now and make a nice addition to a vintage Olds.
