The colour is excellent. My 38 was originally a deeper blue, not metallic. Its due for another make over , and I'm planing to go back to blue, but I like your lighter appearing blue. Do you have a paint mix formula or an equivalent colour that I can track down to take a look at it on my 38?

Thanks.

The color is one of the 1938 Buick colors and is named Boticelli Blue.

Looks Teal to me.

Here is the formula.

PPG DELTRON (DBU) Base/Clear System.

670---------------------------63.5

651---------------------------73.0

695-------------------------1026.6

Dear Mr. Montalvo:

I have a 1939 Roadmaster with the senior Trippes on it. When I set up the electrical feed for the Trippes, I ran the power direct from the generator thru a fuse to a relay to the Trippes, so they're very bright. The relay feed is from the high beam wire on the regular wiring harness on the little junction block out behind the radiator. This means the Trippes come on automatically when I go to high beams. That combination will teach any modern car some respect!

Regards, Dave Corbin
