Guest imported_V12Bill
Jeff, Don't scrap those V 12s!!A bare block has value, but crating and shipping will eat up a lot of the value. It costs about $5 - 6,000 to have an engine rebuilt correctly, but first you must have a good crack free block.Buying a block is buying a pig in a poke. You buy the block, have it boiled to clean it up, and then pay to magnaflux it to check for cracks. If there are cracks you have to determine whether you have too much invested already, repair the cracks if possible, or to start over again. This sort of thing is what makes the hobby so much fun!!!? Are you having fun yet?Bill
