Guest friscozephyr Posted August 30, 2005 Share Posted August 30, 2005 Hi everyone. My 1939 LZ Sedan has cast iron heads, which of course, are probably not original to this engine. I am trying to get the engine compartment to look as original as possible without compromisng mechanical performance. It seems like there are three options: (1) paint the cast iron heads aluminum color, (2) Find and repair a good set of original set of aluminum heads or (3) Spend $2,200.00 a buy a set of repproduction heads.
