Philippe83
Hi I have a Chrysler Daytona Shelby 1992. I have a problem with the car. It can not drive more than 3.000 3.500/minute. The car expert tells me I have to change the electronical computer (I can not find it in France) or it may come from the MAP sensor.Someone perhaps had this problem before or know a lot about the cars. The station office can not solve the problem. And myself i don't know a lot with cars motors.Thank you for your help !!!
Ray61
Hello,I rarely look at this board but just happened to do so today. I talked to my son about your problem because he used to own a Shelby Daytona and he is a trained mechanic. He had the same problem. He had to replace the MAP to solve the problem. He stated that the MAP and the computer are one piece of equipment for this vehicle and that it was very expensive to purchase. If you haven't found a source yet, we will check local salvage yards for a used one, let you know what the price is, and send it if you want.I hate to see so many questions on this board go unanswered.Ray
