Recommended Posts

i'm selling the eng. & trans out of my 1941 plymouth business coupe.

i believe the engine is a 87 hp, 6 - cyl, 201.

both engine and trans are the original components to my car.

with the engine i have all of the carb linkage as well as all of the trans linkage.

i also got the starter rebuilt...never put it in,slight change of plans.

the emgine turns over, hasn't run in a long time.

the parts are in belleville nj.

looking to get $500 or best offer.

i know someone out there can find a home for this stuff ...it's way to valuablr to go to the boneyard!!

A few months back I needed some brake parts for a '37 Ford we are restoring. Bought a complete brake setup on e-Bay, backing plates, newly lined shoes, bearings, brake cables, etc. I wasn't at all surprised when they showed up in absolutely show condition. Obviously someone dismantled a restored vehicle to rod. Contrary to what has been said on here there are restored vehicles being torn apart to be rodded. It's a free country but I do hate to see restored cars being treated to such indignities. Would be interesting to know what percentage of street rod "projects" are ever actually finished.
