lookin for a ride for an engine from long island to california

I just might be able to get it there the first part of next month! There is going to be a big truck show in Auburn Indiana June 2,3,4, and I know people from all over will be there. I have a tranny comming from Ca. and might be able to send your engine back with him after the show or with someone else I know from there. I also know of a couple of trucks from NY that will be at the show and bet I could get a ride on one of them to here also. Let me know if this sounds like it would work for you and I will try to set it up and put you in contact with these guys. What part of Ca. do need it to go to? I know two from southern and one from northern Ca. that would do it.

I talked to the guy in NY last night and he said Long Island is about 350 miles from him. He will be heading out very soon and would need to be loaded before Mem. day weekend if he does it. Let me know if you could get it there and what engine is it anyway?

Other part of this trip would be finding it a ride from Indiana to Cal. and it would help to know what part it is going to. I know 3 people so far that will be at this show from the west coast and there are many more I don't know. If I knew where it is going I would know who to ask about it and see if we can do it. I don't know what the cost would be on something like this or if you could find a shipping Co. that could do it and get a price from them to see what is fair.

We don't have much time but if it does get a ride from there to here I would help out any way I can to see it gets loaded to the right truck while in Indiana.
