Hi

I have a 1951 De Soto custom and a 1950 Chrysler Imperial and I use the 10W ND in both of the cars. The tractor fluid (iso 32) and dextron 3 have additives that may harm your seals.

I would stick with the 10W and if I remember correctly it takes about 10 quarts to fill it up.....and it needs to be filled to the top.

Enjoy your car, it will give years of motoring pleasure. I drove my De Soto to the Nat'l. Convention in Ohio this year.....problem free.....such a nice ride.
