mikes56
Looking for information on the "bag" style storage systems for the winter. What are some things to look for? What are some recomendations? Experiences good or bad? How do you deal with moisture and humidity? Thanks...
Bryan 1960 Windsor
I've heard great things about the 'Carbag'. From what I understand, it's not the heat or the cold that does the most damage during season changes, it's the dramatic change in temperature that causes the harm. I've spoken with Original Survivor owners like myself who have used the carbag system for years, and have had wonderful results. http://www.carbag.com/ is the link to the site. I've been thinking of one myself for my Windsor. The folks that I talked to said that using the carbag along with a couple boxes of baking soda and a container of something like 'damp-rid' crystals would assure safe winter storage for months. Hope this helps for a start.
