Rarity? You mean that these cars are rare?

Well.. Maybe in US, but not in Russia or another east european country...

I know, that from 50's to the 70's most popular taxi cab in Finland was a Volga or Pobeda...(or maybe Plymouth Valiant or Dodge Dart ) And I believe that theres more these cars in Russia than any other car left today...?

Mike, do you have any information on the Zil? I got the chance to ride in one back in '72 while traveling through the Kievan Rus. Always wanted to know a little more about them. They reminded me of '56 Packards. Thanks.

Oh, you mean Chaika (that's under that name in Finland, don't ask how it's spelled in Europe anyway...)

Now that is a rare Russian car. That was what I was thinking of...black with grey interior. I remember it quite clearly. Thanks.
