Jims68 Posted October 11, 2004 Share Posted October 11, 2004 I have just finished a restoration on a 1968 Dodge D-100 truck, and I was trying to find some info on the dealer it came from. The previous owner said he bought it new from "CHERKOS" (SP?) Dodge in Wrightstown New Jersey they also sold Jeeps. However, I cannot find ANY info on that dealer. How, can I find out more info on it? I would also like info on a DeSoto Plymouth Dealer called Beverly Motors in Beverly New Jersey. Info like, the years they were in operation, when they closed... fun stuff like that. Is there a website where this is available? If you are in the local area it might be interesting to check. I have also had some luck by calling the current dealer and asking to speak to the oldest person in the building.
