Howard
Hi Guys:Actually, this is the first time I've visted the Chrysler Forum. I have a 1989 Buick Reatta, so I maintain a presence in that AACA forum. I hope you don't mind that I dropped by. I do have a Chrysler related question. I've noted that the 1965 New Yorkers have two types of tail lights. One is a very handsome clear set-up. The other is a more common red lense set up. Were the clear lamps part of an optional trim package or were they offered only part of the model year? Thanks in advance for your response. mopar380
The clear-over-red taillight lenses were only offered in the early part of 1965.As a kid, I remember seeing a brand new one in the neighbourhood of my grandparents' house, it was a 65 New Yorker four door hardtop which I thought was a fantastic looking new car. I was 11 at the time. Best Regards, Ian Smale
