fiery Posted August 15, 2004 Share Posted August 15, 2004 CAN YOU HELP?situation is 318poly/727A tranny.Setting these into 1937 dodge sloper(D6C)Purchased a 64 valiant 3 speed push button auto.System was set up on tranny as column shift,as aussie bodies are RHD the column has a cable shift box on LH fire wall,which then drives the cables to the transmission,seems double the work,anyway how to mend.Does the push button system allow the direct connection between transmission cables(ie park and other gears)and push button operaor mechanism.I hope so,then maybe I can disassemble my weird transfer cable box and set it up directly to the button mechansim.CAN anyone confirm how 727A cable drive works attatched to a push button system as described above.If you have such experience, can you advise accordingly.Photo of my car attached Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
