RARE: 1925 FLINT TOURING CAR

1925 Flint Touring Car - This rare beauty formerly was on display at a well known Midwestern museum until the passing of its second owner. The deep red body is accentuated by the black fenders and tan canvas top and rear tire cover. The interior was redone in a deeper tan leather. Only 15,xxx miles are registered on the odometer and the former owner believed them to be actual. This was only produced in Flint, Michigan for 2 years by Billy Durant. The big, straight six motor runs smoothly and powerfully, and the carbuerator has just been professionally rebuilt. The overall condition is museum quality, however the brightwork (grill shell, bumpers etc.) should be replated some time in the future as an upgrade. Some of the features include hydraulic brakes, electric starter, floor mounted standard transmission, speedometer, California top, wood artillary wheels, wide white wall tires, motometer hood ornament and temperature gauge, and a rear mounted spare with canvas cover. Since so few of these exist and this is the only one we've seen in two decades, the conventional value guides and auction reports do not indicate the value. However, if someone gave you one of these needing a full restoration it wouldn't be difficult to spend $100,000 or more doing so. - in excellent condition
