Excellent Article on 1960 - 62 Valiant

My new issue (August, 2004) of "Collectible Automobile" arrived in the mail the other day. Fans of the first Valiants will find a really excellent, profusely illustrated article covering the first generation Valiant. There are photos of styling prototypes and a great deal of information I've never seen before. This magazine should hit the newsstands in a few weeks.

And the upcoming October issue will cover the 1960 - 61 DeSoto. I'm really looking forward to that one.

About 5 or so years ago, the Valiants were a feature vehicle in the WPC News. I recall the author to have been one of the engineers on that platform back when the cars were being developed in the 1950s. A really great article with many insights into the design of the cars. It might be available from the back issues form.

A few years ago, there was one on the 1963-66 Darts too. Another great article on those cars too.

and have found it to be a great publication.
