AndyC
Have a 62 New Yorker, 413, trying to restore to original. Have found conflicting info on engine color. One reference says Bermuda Turquoise with Black Air Cleaner and Oil Cap. Another says Orange. I think that the Turquoise is probaby the correct. Can anyone confirm this ?Thanks in advance. Guest
And was the color the same for the '63 300 w/ 413CID? Mine has been repainted blue.
mopar380
The correct color is called Chrysler turquoise - probably the same as the Bermuda turquoise you are referring to. Click here to see a photo of my engine compt on my 1962 Chrysler 300. http://pacificcoast.net/~ijsmale/60dodge/editor.htm The photo looks much more blue than it really is though. The air cleaner and other brackets should be black. The 1963 model should be the same color.
