Guest DeSoto Frank Posted April 20, 2004 Share Posted April 20, 2004 Hi there!Having been playing around with 1940's Chrysler products for nearly 20 years now, I would strongly recommend getting reprints of the factory shop manuals for both cars.Roberts Motor Parts (www.robertsmotorparts.com) has reprints for the '41-'48 Manual and the'49-'52 (?) Manual. I believe they run about $25 each.Also useful (but not mandatory) would be a MoPar Master Parts book or a parts book specific to the year of your car...The website of the Imperial Club is also helpful, as they have put copies of various MoPar Master Tech bulletins on-line, and Imperials are synonymous with Chrysler through 1954...Good luck!
