R W Burgess
Hey Rich, is this the Youth Car attached. Looks like the kids have run you off. <img src="http://www.aaca.org/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif" alt="" /> Went through the whole gallery of pictures, didn't see anyone resembling you. <img src="http://www.aaca.org/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" /> Wayne
Guest Art Griffin
Wayne,Roadster Rich is in photos 126 and 127; Doug Drake is also in photo 127. The guys are dark in the photos due to the very bright sunlight outside. I can use my photo editing software to brighten them up a bit. Picture 125 shows the sign in front of the Youth Activities tent, and 128 shows some kids making measurements of tire tread depth. (By putting your cursor on a particular picture, the picture number shows up along the bottom of your browser.)By the way, we have only a representative number of the cars photographed. There were 346 vehicles registered. To see all of them, the professional pictures that were mentioned in last weeks post on the DF contains them all.Art Griffin
24T42
Art and Rich,Thanks for posting the pics. It looks like you had a picture perfect day for a show.I did not see many photos of the Junior activities, which I was hoping to use on the Junior AACA web page. To date, I haven't received any photos at all. Do you know if there are any around that I can use? Thanks in advance.
RoadsterRich
http://www.ccraaca.org/nmt2004/SI.asp?FN=Scan0128.jpg These three were measuring tire tread depth, measuring inflation, and pointing out the parts of the cooling system. http://www.ccraaca.org/nmt2004/SI.asp?FN=Scan0126.jpg These two were participating in the coloring books. http://www.ccraaca.org/nmt2004/SI.asp?FN=Scan0125.jpg This was the sign for the junior activities. http://www.ccraaca.org/nmt2004/SI.asp?FN=Scan0127.jpg If this one doesn't break your monitors, I'm sure you can figure out who the three in the photo are... RichPS: I'm the one in the red shirt that looks like he has been up all night (go figure), and been on the showfield since 5AM... this picture was taken in the afternoon. R W Burgess
Rich must be that smiling fellow standing to the right? <img src="http://www.aaca.org/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> W.
R W Burgess
Thanks Art and Rich too. Earl told me it was a great meet. Of course every picture of he and Judy has them with wide smiling faces. Tells the story, doesn't it? Now, you guys better find some more Youth pictures as Judy sounds like she feels better. <img src="http://www.aaca.org/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/mad.gif" alt="" /> <img src="http://www.aaca.org/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shocked.gif" alt="" /> <img src="http://www.aaca.org/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> Wayne
24T42
Wayne,Not really - but I need to get busy and make some changes in the Junior page. I have not done anything since - dare I say it - PHILLY!! I have several ideas that I want to implement. So - I need to quit waiting for the day that I feel great again and just dive in. Rich - thanks for those photos. I will try and get up with Doug again and see if he has any from the Cars 'n Parts program.
RoadsterRich
Um, er well Judy, you know funny thing about the cars and parts program. We had so much enthusiasim over the "Chip" program that we lost track of time and well er... um... well we never did the Cars and Parts program (ducking for cover!)I know there are more pictures of the kids over the course of the day Colleen took quite few with our camera, however it is having a moment and won't eject the card. I can view them on the camera, just not get them to the computer to share. Also I believe that Doug should have quite a few pictures as well. I'll check with other club members too, I believe Joe Pinson may have taken some as well. I'll try to coordinate getting them to you.I'll see if I can catch Doug and remind him to send them to both of us.RichPS: Come to think of it, Earl may have had a camera too, Earl you out there? Guest Art Griffin
24T42,I e-mailed you copies of pictures 125, 126, 127, & 128. I increased the brightness and contrast on 126 and 127 so that you could see the faces of the people under the Youth tent.Art Griffin
24T42
Thanks to everyone for giving me a hand. And Rich - don't apologize for not doing a 'Cars 'n Its Part program. We have been doing it for several years now and are now getting some repeat customers. So I think it was good to offer the CHIPs program. A big thanks to you and everyone that helped. If you have not done one of these programs it can be a bit overwhelming although fulfilling!!
