Restorer32 Posted March 10, 2004 Share Posted March 10, 2004 Beautiful car and considerably more rare than the Continental. Father-in-law restored and drove 1 in the early 80's. Unless things have changed the CCCA does not recognoze this model as a "Classic". Same engine, same chassis, many of the same body panels which were obviously reworked for the Continental. Not sure why the CCCA doesn't like it. One of our favorite family photos is of my Son standing on the seat beside his Grandpa in the Lincoln.
