1928 Model 52, 2 door coach

Thank you for your help everyone. However, I still need to find a parts source.

I am in need of all window channels and operating mechanisms. My 2 door is missing all of the inside the doors and inside the panels in the rear. Also in need of a rear floor pan cover for over the 3rd member area. The number on the dash is the car's serial number. It is done in the FEDCO format - three numbers and three letters that represent numbers. When the vehicle was stolen, the plate was to be replaced with a new plate having on of the letters replaced by its numerical equivalent.

For the Chrysler Corporation, the FEDCO letters and their numerical equivalents :

W-P-C-H-R-Y-S-L-E-D

0-1-2-3-4-5-6-7-8-9

HHH-698-WWW has too many digits.

The "H" series numbers should be AA-NNN-A. Check the plate again. There should be three letters that are more pronounced that the others - two at the front and one at the end. If the number works out as "HH-698-W", the numeric equivalent is : 336980. In any case, the 1928 Chrysler 52, model I, has numbers from HW-000-P to HL-685-L (300001 to 376857).

The Chrysler 52 (model I) successor, the Plymouth 4 (model Q) has numbers HL-950-P to HD-999-D (379501 to 39999), then RW-000-P to RH-977-H (400001 to 439773).

The number was also stamped on left frame side member at rear spring horn in the 1920's.

Your engine number should begin with "I", and will be stamped on front left side of cylinder block above the water jacket cover or stamped on a machined boss above the chain case.
