Guest
My 1946 Chrysler clutch pedal bushing is worn out so the pedal is wobly. Does anyone know were to find replacements for both the clutch and brake pedal bushings?
Jon Robinson
Hello: Look in the Yellow Pages under bearing companies. Bearing dealers also deal in bushing stock, and you'll indentify the parts by size, not by what car they came from. Take the master cylinder and pedals to the bearing company, and match them by size. Then, you'll probably have to take the parts to a good machine shop where the machinist will press out the old ones, press in the new ones, and hone them to the right size for grease clearance. You could have it done in a morning. E-mail me if you have any questions: jrobinson@mscomm.comJON
