Restorer32 Posted January 13, 2004 Share Posted January 13, 2004 Need everything inside the backing plates for a '37 Ford with mechanical brakes. Need for both fronts or both backs, am told they interchange. We have the backing plates, need everything else, springs, levers, etc. as well as at least 1 set of brake shoes. Certainly lots of this stuff around, just a pain to find when you need it. Might buy complete front axle or rear if within reasonable driving distance of South Central PA. Thanks! gossjh Posted January 30, 2004 Share Posted January 30, 2004 At one time I had everything for breaks that came off of a restored 36 ford that got rid of the mechanical system. I've gotten rid of some bits and pieces but still have the majority scatterred about between the shed and the garage. I believe the 36 parts will work.
