Guest Posted January 3, 2004 Share Posted January 3, 2004 Most of the time this car starts on the third or fourth turn of the starter. Frequently, enough to be very irritating, the engine tries to fire and then fails to start. All are new, points and plugs. It feels like the engine is getting no spark.My mechanic finally gets it started and says nothing is wrong. Something is causing the condition described and I would APPRECIATE ANY HELP.
