I have three books to sell; 1) Dykes Automobile and Gas Engine Encyclopedia, 13th edition (1923) good condition, $30.00; 2)"Automobile Starting, Lighting, and Ignition Systems" by Victor W. Page (1918). A fantastic detailed book with 298 pictures (engravings) that covers these three systems on many of the "modern" cars of that era. Also contains much tuning data and many electrical diagrams. An incredible book from that era. In very good condition. $40.00. 3) "The Automobile Official 1912 Blue Book", Volume 4, The Middle West. Almost 900(!)pages. Approx. 6" x 9". If you needed to travel from Pittsburg Pa. to Mpls, Mn. in 1912, you needed this book. As detailed as it got in 1912, this was before the road maps were made. If you know your auto history from this era, you know how RARE these books are today. Fascinating reading. This book has a tattered cover (around the edges) but looks very good.
