Guest
Does anyone happen to have any pics of the race cars from 40's and 50's so we might have a chance to identify this car????
DizzyDale
Dear Dave,What in the world leads you to believe this was ever a race car? Looks like a custom something,NOT sure what they started with and REALLY not sure what it ended up being.diz
Guest
This is professionally built with even a hydraulic clutch and seamless body. The front end was torn off in a wreck and the engine is mid mounted. you tell me what it was for then????? It has a steel tube subframe under the body and all seams originally there were filled with lead. This not amature work. The outside of the rear fenders and front fenders were 41 stock. We also have the skirts, 1941. Chassis # is 1941.Engine has aluminum heads and intake.
1937hd45
Was the car always in the Mid West? Are there any SCCA dash tags on it? Looks like a 1950-56 creation to me.What other info do you have on it?
Guest
Little to no info known. That is why I came here. There are no numbers or tags except for the chassis 41 Zephyr number.
