I finally have some pictures and am looking for a few experienced eyes willing to offer me an opinion, guestimate, or value range. I've looked at various price guides but they seem to be all over the board, and I'm uncomfortable evaluating the condition. If you are able to help out, please e-mail me at buckshot319@yahoo.com and I'll forward a few pictures.

Thanks,

Following up on what Phil said, it's very tough to tell without knowing more about the car. In order of importance to determining value:

1. How solid is the body? Any serious structural damage / rust? How much work to get the body back to original? (This is where the money goes fast!)

2. How complete is the car, and in what condition are the pieces? Stainless trim (especially along the side bottom edge), grill, skirts, instruments, steering wheel, etc. In the engine bay, is it a v-12 or replacement flathead / ohv v8 engine? Does it have the correct heads, correct carb? Replacing stuff like this, especially if you want to go concours, can add $$$ fast. Ask me how I know

3. What options does the car have: radio, heater, and especially the Columbia rear axle?

I hope this helps some. But if I had to give a *floor* value for a relatively complete car needing alot of work (meaning drivetrain is there and will need to be rebuilt, and body will need work to get into shape), I'd probably say something around or just 10K. But that is only one opinion.
