tomwallace
I have a 1911 cadillac that is ready for painting the wooden body. The wood is very dry with a lot of "open pores". The wood is solid. I have read in some forums that some restorers use an epoxy type sealer. The sealer is suppose to soak into the wood and strengthen it. It supposedly gives the wood a good hard surface for paint.Anyone have any thoughts or words of wisdom?
