HERSHEY SHOW ANNOUNCEMENTS

For the past couple of years, big changes in event lay-out have been taking place at Hershey, with more this year. I understand that this can't be helped. With the massive area of the event, the number of attendees, and the ever-changing landscape, I think it is very important for regular P.A. announcements to be made telling people where things are. I have had a space in the yellow field and the red field the last three years, and never did I hear any announcements made to inform people where things were, or how to get there. Some of the red field spaces are very isolated, and we need all the help we can get to direct people over there. There is precious little in the way of signage, and having only one cross-over on Hershey Park Drive is a killer. Not everyone gets a program, or can decipher the map. I have run across scores of lost souls the last few years, and I'm not talking about first-timers. I plead with AACA to at least provide information on the P.A. to direct attendees to the more remote flea market areas. Anyone agree?

Floyd...I think you hit the nail on the head. Everything you mentioned would benefit attendees and the Hershey Region's successes.

My only advise is that the AACA does not put the show on...the Hershey Region is the host.

They do not have a website, that I know of, so a phone call is about the only way. Possibly phone National Headquarters (717-534-1910) and obtain a phone number? at the Hershey Region.
