bakersfield
There is a rather nice looking '88 coupe curently on ebay (item 2422950414),that has a sunroof.I thought that the sunroof option was only available from '89 onward....The VIN on this car is a LATE '88 I believe, (1G4EC11C1JB904193), so would it be posssible that it is an original factory sunroof?? I have queried the seller, but have not received a reply as yet, and really don't know if they can answer.

padgett
My July 88 has a sunroof. Sounds like they dropped the suede seats about the same time they added sunroofs. First one (not aftermarket) in Barneys list is 1562/May 88 & had suede. Usually there is a dealer letter announcing a change like that. My question is when did the change from the black horn button centers to the gold ones occur ? (Mine has gold as does the one referenced in the top post). Would also like to know if anyone has ever had a failure of the 88-only rubber brake fluid return line ? Was changed to steel tubing in very late 88.
