here's a warning for any of you in the l.a. area. i took my car to this dealer to look at the camshaft sensor and abs. after 8 full days, i am picking up the car with no repairs made. every day they told me theyd call me back and never did. finally i told them to forget it and i will pick it up. no way in he** am i paying for an estimate either. just wanted you all to know about this. plus wanted to vent.

just for ammo when i go in there. is there any reason the whole camshaft would have to be removed?

from what i read on my previous post, at most the magnet has to be replaced.

thanks everyone.

just a suggestion here: give the folks at Dyerness Automotive a call. don't have their number, but they are located at 425 South Central Avenue in Glendale. they seem like a really reputable shop, and they have purchased a lot of parts from us. they are also Reatta owners, too. ask for James, and tell them we sent you.
