Peter. Thank you very much for setting us up with our very own Durant Club connection. As a lot of people know Durant was a big player concerning automobile production & starting GM and Chevrolet and then his own car named after himself. I welcome all comers as we are commited to helping anyone with a Durant, Star, Flint, or De Vaux car. Sincerely. Lance Haynes President Durant Motors Automobile club <img src="http://www.aaca.org/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smirk.gif" alt="" />

Hi Peter etc.

I am a new durant Rugby owner.

I have bought a 1926 M tourer in wonderful original condition - 26K miles since new! complete original & in excellent condition. The car has been in South africa for about 20 years, imported from Hong Kong where it was brought from China by the son of the original owner, a missionary in China.

I will take some pictures which I can post onto the web.

I have been unable to get through to the Durant Motors Automobile Club.

Regards,

Alec Divov. (divov@global.co.za alt ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~)

Could you please tell me what a 1924 Durant Star (red), 4 door, in fairly good shape would sell for? Additionally, do you know how many of these particular models were manufactured? In fact, any information you could provide would be helpful.

I look forward to your response.

Sincerely

Andrea Brinkman

I am looking for a 28 Durant. I would really like the one that was purchased by the Ford family and given to his son-in-law named Durant. It was sold over 20 years ago. A father and son restored this together and the son would love to have it now for the memories of he and his father. If anybody knows anything about this family who were from Liscom Hill area in California PLEASE contact me!!!!! If anyone has a 28 for sale please contact me as well. If I can ever find the family I'd like to have one to trade them!!!! THANKS MUCH!

I am inquiring about an automobile made by I believe Durant. It is a Star 4 1927 4 cyls coupe. Does anyone have an idea of how many were made and the value? My Uncle drove one when he was just learning to drive. I am interested in any information on this particular auto that I can get. Thanks!!

I have a 1930 durant that belonged to my grandfather. Having problems Identifying! The metal plate on passengers toeboard says 407, but has everything a 614 deluxe sedan has. 6-wire wheels, running lights on fenders, arrow louvers. Some numbers I have found are 5745 (Rt aft side middle of motor) 22AA605 (Rt side top of motor) 22AA604 (Rt side bottom of motor) 153624 (Lt side top of motor) 77134_2 (Rt side front axle). Can send Photo's. Thanks

I have a 1927 star 2dr, coupe, or what ever it is no a touring, it is a little 2 seater with a trunk. It has been in my family since prior to 1940's but hasnt been ran much after my granpa died in the 50's, it is in very very good original condition with the title, all original very good body tags, engine tags. a couple of years ago i tried to get it to get spark, but may have bought the wrong wires, i replaced sparkplugs, cap and rotor, but not the points, no spark, cleaned points, changed coil and wired to battery to see if wiring short. no spark, now that i am ready to work on it again i found original tune up kit that will hopefully get me going i got the correct cap, rotor , points, condenser, and steel type spark plug wires, does anyone have anything to add that would help thanks zac zbberryz@aol.com
