Dear Sirs,

Could someone tell me how does Lincoln Zephyr Convertible Coupe differs from Mercury Convertible Club Coupe, both from the same year 1939? What is the production amount both Lincoln and Mercury? How many of those are still alive? Please tell me also good web sites showing above information if available.

Zephyr CVT Coupe is simply one of the most beautiful car ever made!

Thank you and best regards,

Markus

Markus, Glad to see you found this site! here are 2 web pages to look at. for 1939 Merc http://www.autogallery.org.ru/m/merc1939.htm

for 1939 Lincoln Zephyr http://www.autogallery.org.ru/m/linz1939.htm

Even tho these cars were both made by Ford and shared simular engineering , they are completely different. The Mercury and Ford were very simular but the Zephyr was unique.

Thanks for the web links.

They built 640 pcs. of Lincoln Zephyr 760B CVT Coupe -39.

Do you know how many of Mercury CVT Coupe -39 has been built?

Overall production for year -39 Mercury was 75.000.

Hoping to have someday "at least" Mercury CVT Coupe -39...

With best regards,

Markus
