Guest Posted March 18, 2003 Share Posted March 18, 2003 I am having a problem with my convertible top switch and would like to know if someone can help. just rewired my whole car and took all the switches apart and cleaned them, all are working fine except the top switch, unless you ground the inner plate it wont work. evrything looked in good shape when taken apart and reassembly went back without a hitch. can anyone help? its the newer style switch that looks like its mounted vertically. All my windows were working fine but the top was not, found it to be a bad relay on the pump motor which was new just 2 months ago. a new heavy duty relay fixed the problem.
