Would you prefer:$11,000? Not sure what you mean here. The average price for a car in this condition is WELL over the original asking price of $15,000...We are pricing this to sell. Any suggestions then?

Thanks for your thoughts. However I feel being upfront about the condition is important. And useing those words in the same sentance as SHOWS GREAT, is the truth. I guess I could have said..all Crome new (excluding 3 pieces) OR maybe a better way to describe the tires would have been less then 500 miles (but have been on the car for 6 years) And all original interior with some wear. Any who..with $13,000 in restoration and many show honors, I and others would classify this car as shows great!!! thanks for your time and I will chose better words next time. I do thank you and respect your opinon.

Dear Flamegirl,I am sure all the TROPHYS your Chevrolet has WON are right next to the awards YOU won at the spelling bee.I would think that the local paper or swap sheet or even the Auto Trader would be a good place to advertise your car.diz

Dizzy- I guess you have more time on your hands, then I, to proof your posts...! I thought this was a place to post about cars..not jump all over people and the fact that I MAY BE a "non-speller"! I know that I'm hooked on Phonics...but "you ment, what I knew" so i guess you got the point. I respected your opinion till you got personal! Thanks and have a GREAT DAY! Peace and Love...

Dennis- YOU RAWK! lol

By the way thanks for keeping the thread going..its been fun!

Dear Flamegirl and Dennis, Simon,American Idol? I have heard both these mentioned in conversation,do not watch much tv.Drag racing,Winston Cup,hockey, thats about it on the tube for me.My job and working on the Zephyr after work, please do not take my bitchin to heart,i guess i just like things done correctly.Going to bother to do it ,you might as well spend an extra 2 minutes and do it right,in my book that includes spelling and old Fords and Lincolns.diz

Dear Bill,Zephyr has V-12 with original aluminum heads.Bought it in N.C. last summer and put 700 miles on it and straighened out any mechanical problems.Won a junior first in Charlotte in 1980 then just sat and deteriorated.Doing metal work now ,paint it and all plating is done.New interior and i have a Columbia 2-speed to install, car came with 4:44 gears in the rear, not ideal for 55mph cruising.diz
