Paint for Trim Parts

The black paint or finish on the lower trim panels ( below the door) is turning to gray. Any idea on a good repaint type or/and good fix for this?

Just could be a type of synthetic plastic coating. If so it will respond very well to 303 Aerospace Protectant

Or easier to find Mother's BACK-TO-BLACK®

Apply Back-to-Black® to sun-burnt plastic, rubber and vinyl to revive the factory-new sheen, then re-treat that exterior hardware regularly.

You can use it on other colors of plastic and it will restore the finish to original sheen.

satin-finish black spray paint does a great job. works even better if you remove the rocker panel moldings, although not the easiest job.

Removed them but used "Chip Guard" Mine were beginning to show a fair bit of wear behind the front wheels.
