Guest imported_JPIndusi
I have a trouble light that I think was mounted on the firewall of GM cars. I have only seen one other on a Pontiac. It has a bracket which holds the light. The light has a base where the power cord rolls up on. Above the base is the actual lamp with a glass cone shaped cover with half painted red, the other half clear. Does anybody know if this was a Buick option, where was it mounted and what kind of switch turned it on?Thanks - Joe
Guest my3buicks
Buicks had theirs accessory trouble lights mounted on the underside of the hood, or also could be mounted on the inside of the trunk lid. It has always been my understanding that the cone shaped/with red ones where Pontiac only. Buick used a flat clear one. I could be wrong on this for some years but fairly sure about it. 67 was positively not cone shaped/and red. Pontiacs that I have seen with them had them mounted on the inner fenders.
