as usual a beautiful issue, we are so lucky to have such great publications!

loved the story of the Utica Club Packard, and the Alvis. The hispano history is amazing! Don't we all wish we had been on that spot in photo number 7! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/icons/grin.gif" alt="" />

I can't wait to finish up and read the Elcar article!

In the latest issue there is a picture of a car that is classified as a convertible victoria. On page 20 at the bottom is a picture of Tom Derro's Duesenbug J-519 coach work done by D'leteren Freres. I saw this car in June at a show Penna. When the car was introduced there as Convertible Victoria it kind of bugged me. In my ownpersonal opinion this car isn't a convertible victoria. To me a true convertible victoria is the design rendered by Alex de Sakhnoffsky when he was a Van den Plas. Which was done in this country under license by other firms as Dietrich and Waterhouse for Packard. Just expressing my thoughts but what do I know. I am just an old country boys that knows very little about the Golden Age.
