The hispano history is amazing! Guest Posted December 18, 2002 Share Posted December 18, 2002 In the latest issue there is a picture of a car that is classified as a convertible victoria. On page 20 at the bottom is a picture of Tom Derro's Duesenbug J-519 coach work done by D'leteren Freres. I saw this car in June at a show Penna. When the car was introduced there as Convertible Victoria it kind of bugged me. In my ownpersonal opinion this car isn't a convertible victoria. To me a true convertible victoria is the design rendered by Alex de Sakhnoffsky when he was a Van den Plas. Which was done in this country under license by other firms as Dietrich and Waterhouse for Packard. Just expressing my thoughts but what do I know.
