Guest Posted October 22, 2002 Share Posted October 22, 2002 Hi, I am new to the world of Buicks,I have just purchased a 1967 Buick Electra 225 convertible for $350,It came with a wrecked 1968 Electra 2dr hdtp parts car,the 430-4 engine is froze up in the 67,will the drivetrain from the 68 work without any problems?also,what other parts interchange between the two years?both cars have 64k&67k original miles,the coupe was a show car/driver until it was rear ended by a drunk driver,the 67 convertible hasn't been liscensed since 1974!Thanks for any information anyone can provide. Guest Posted October 22, 2002 Share Posted October 22, 2002 You have a good year to drop a motor in. I believe any 455 or 430 will drop right in.
