Guest
I am restoring a 40 Zephyr 4-Door Sedan. Can anyone tell me where I can acquire upholstery and carpeting to match the original? I tried LeBaron-Bonney and none of their upholstery samples matched.

ezdusit
Roy,
Check The Way of the Zephyr, Volume 32, Number 6. It was the issue with the full color cover of a 1946 sedan in front of the Ford rotunda. It had a complete article on upholstery and I seem to recall a discussion on sources of fabrics. Good luck!
------------------
Bob Mead
Fayetteville, TN
Guest
Thanks Rolf and Bob. Rolf, the guy in Florida I believe is Kepich Exhaust and I had already contacted him. They do Continentals only. Bob I did read the article in TWOZ and it basically said that for the 40 model sedans, and some others, it is impossible to find interior as they may have used it for only one production run. I guess I may have to resort to what the article recommended as a backup material. I appreciate you guys speedy response. Roy
