1951 Plymouth Upholstery

I am restoring my 1951 Plymouth Cranbrook and I have some doubts about the upholstery details.
My car is dark blue and the dashboard is gray. The current colour of the seats is brown, and it is made of leather. I would like to know what the colour and materials this car used originally in its upholstery.
Regards,
Julio Albernaz

The one 1951 Plymouth that I am familiar with that has its original interior has a grey bedford cord. If I recall correctly it has some thin stripes in the seat material. There may have been some options for other materials and colors. I am not familiar enough with that vintage to say for sure.
If you are interested, I could give the owner a call and see if I could go over and take some pictures for you.
------------------
Plymouth: The First Decade

What is bedford cord material ? Is it somekind of leatherette ?
About the design of the seats upholstery: is it plain ? What are the colour differences between the roof, seats, door panels,...?
Is the gray dark or light ?
Regards,
Julio

Bedford cord is a type of wool cloth. It sounds like you need some photographs. I will give that car owner a call and see if I can't go over and get some photographs for you.
I am pretty sure his car is a 51. Might be a 50 or 52 though...
------------------
Plymouth: The First Decade
