Guest
Try checking with the National Chevy Association, they specialize in 53&54 Chevy's. They are experts on 1954 BelAires. I used to own one and they were always very helpful when I was confused.
Their web site:
www.nationalchevyassoc.com
Good Luck,
EAS. ThomasBorchers
I think they came not from the factory with a continetal kit because I can't find it in the option list of GM. Lots of other things but not a ck. I think they were sold by the dealers and attached there.
But perhaps I am wrong with this...
Thomas
------------------
Thomas Borchers
Member of AACA # 004829
HCCA and MAFCA
Guest
To the best of my knowledge Chevrolet never offered a continental kit from the factory.
I once had one installed on a new '56 Buick by the selling Buick dealer, but it was NOT a GM accessory. ~ hvs
